Hire Facilities

The heritage of the Museum's turn of the century building is an ideal setting for a meeting, seminar, exhibition, launch or community function with special character.  The Museum has the largest private function space in Chinatown where over 140 people can sit down to a Chinese meal and various other multi-purpose spaces.

 

A tour of the Museum or Chinatown can be added to the room hire as an extra highlight to your event!

Catering: The Museum can serve an 8-course Chinese banquet, an East-West 3-course meal, or a Chinese buffet to suit any meal requirements.  For business or community meetings and seminars, the Museum can provide sandwich platters and refreshments.  For openings and launches, a range of finger foods can be served.  Please ask to arrange a quote.  (No external caterers are permitted).

 

Access: All levels are fully accessible to wheelchair users, via lift access. There is also stair access.

 

Toilets: Toilets are on Level 1. There is an adapted toilet for wheelchair users.
