Membership

The Chinese Museum is a not-for-profit incorporated association, which is open for membership to those interested in Chinese Australian history and Chinese culture.

Every two years, the Members elect its Trust members, who in turn elect its office bearers and the Committee of Management.

Membership to the Museum is:

Adults: $25 a year, $60 for three years, or $350 for life membership.

Student / Pensioner: $20 for one year, $50 for three years.

Family / Duo (2 adults & 3 children under 18): $50 for one year, $120 for three years.

Member benefits include:

  • free entry to the Museum
  • invitations to exhibition openings
  • a 10% discount on purchases in the Museum's shop
  • discounts on classes, workshops and seminars

AUGUST

Special guided tour of the See Yup Temple, at 76 Raglan Street, South Melbourne, for a members-only tour

                   

SEPTEMBER

Asian Food Festival dinner at the Museum. Explore the delights of Asia at a special dinner by the Chinese Restaurateurs Association of Victoria

 

OCTOBER

Members-only viewing of the Chinese Museum Collection of textiles guided by the curator of the Museum
