Cultural performances and food stalls decorate the streets of Melbourne's Chinatown during the two day festival.
Lion troupes visit businesses to ward away evil spirits and bring good fortune, whilst the Millennium Dragon marks the beginning of the Spring Festival. The dragon awakens from the Chinese Museum to parade the streets at midday.
