Lion Dances: Sunday 6th February 2022

To see in the Year of the Tiger, come to the Chinese Museum this Sunday 6th Feb to witness Melbourne’s stirring Lion Dances.

Whilst there is no Dragon Parade this year, you can visit the Dragon inside the Museum whilst listening to our live Dragon presentation about the history and heritage of Melbourne’s Chinese Dragons. You can even make a wish for the new Lunar New Year.

Family Murmurings Exhibition

Experience a slice of what it was like growing up Chinese-Australian in the 1950’s and 60’s in this virtual reality show – extended hours on Sunday 6th Jan, 11am-3pm.

Activities are free with the normal cost of Museum entry.
