On the weekend of 5th of June 2022, we celebrated the Dragon Boat Festival and welcomed over 600 visitors into our museum. We were overjoyed to experience the high engagement we had from the public for our various dragon boat festivities, and happy to see families and children making the most of their free visit to all of our exhibitions in the museum.

Our zongzi making sessions were filled to capacity, and we saw many eager participants (young and old) make their polaroid photo frames their own!

A special thanks to our sponsors and supporters, Chinatown Melbourne, The Greater Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust, and the Chinese Youth Society of Melbourne of this open day for making this event a huge success!
