Drum

Alma Quon played the drums/piano in the all-girl band the Joy Belles and was its major instigator and leader. It is believed that the band played contemporary western popular music, possibly a jazz/swing style. It was basically a dance band and they played at many Young Chinese League functions.

Young Chinese League blazer

The blazer was owned and worn by Norman Leslie Kee. The Kee family was involved with the Young Chinese League from around 1955/56 to 1964/65, during the time of Frank Chinn's presidency. The blazer was worn during various social and sporting functions including monthly supper dances and annual summer picnics.
