About Us Our Supporters OUR SUPPORTERS Since the opening of the Museum in 1985, there have been hundreds of contributions to the Museum in a multitude of ways. Many government agencies, corporations, institutions, Chinese-Australian community organisations, families and individuals have been ongoing supporters of the Museum. This has been through financial donations for infrastructure and general operations, sponsorship of exhibitions and donations to the collection of items of heritage value. Volunteers have donated their time to staging activities and community events and have assisted in undertaking historical research and form part of the guiding program of the Museum.
