Opening Hours 

We are open every day 10am-4pm. We are closed on public holidays. 

Please note: The museum is closed from Fri 29th March to Mon 1st April 2024 for the Easter public holidays.  We will reopen Tues 2nd April 10am-4pm.

Location

The Chinese Museum is located in the heart of Melbourne's Chinatown at 22 Cohen Place, Melbourne 3000. Enter via Lonsdale or Little Bourke Streets. 

Bus

Take the Bus along Lonsdale St (Routes 252, 302, 304, 907 & 908) to Cohen Pl stop.

Schools - Buses can drop students at the front of Her Majesty’s Theatre on Exhibition St (5 min drop zone).

Tram

Take any tram along Bourke St (Routes 86, 96) to Stop 7 and walk through Market Ln to Little Bourke St and Cohen Pl.

Train

The nearest train station is Parliament (exit at Lonsdale St).
