Conveniently located within Melbourne’s Chinatown, with over 20 years’ experience in museum education. Our programs have been designed by teachers with a strong focus on curriculum and contemporary teaching methodologies. All Education resources and programs have meaningful links to the Victorian Curriculum and the Australian Curriculum across a wide range of learning areas including Humanities, Languages (Chinese), The Arts and English.
Tours are led by experienced guides and can be combined with various cultural workshops and enrichment activities. Museum guided tours can be tailored to suit your class by highlighting particular topics of interest (with advance notice):

Accompanying teachers and support parents are free.
Teachers are warmly invited to explore the museum at anytime and talk to us in person about their students’ needs, at no charge. Bring your VIT card for free entry (One entry per card).

Bus Drop Off
Buses can drop students at the front of Her Majesty’s Theatre on Exhibition St (5 min drop zone).
TRAM Take any tram along Bourke St (Routes 86, 95 & 96) to Stop 7 and walk through Market Ln to Little Bourke St and Cohen Pl.
TRAIN The nearest train station is Parliament (exit at Lonsdale St).
BUS Take the Bus along Lonsdale St (Routes 252, 302, 304 & 908) to Cohen Pl stop.
