The Chinese Museum recently launched Digital Cultural Adventures to continue its strong relationship with schools virtually. Each 45-minute program showcases objects from the museum to enliven classroom teaching and tantalizes students’ senses through interactive elements such as video, music, and drawing. All adventures are Victorian curriculum-aligned for primary and secondary levels. Exciting times lie ahead. Through this new program, the Chinese Museum aims to become a leading Australian authority of authentic digital learning for Australian history, Chinese art and culture and multiculturalism. Digital Cultural Adventures will not only allow the museum to expand our current education offerings but has the potential to engage new audiences both nationally and internationally.
