Since 1977, the International Council of Museums (ICOM) has been organizing International Museum Day, providing a unique platform for the global museum community to come together. IMD aims to raise awareness about the significance of museums as vital hubs for cultural exchange, enrichment, and fostering mutual understanding among peoples.
